When is BattleFlow Reminder useful?

BattleFlow Reminder is useful whenever you need to follow a timed sequence of actions or receive spoken reminders about what to do next.

For example, while gaming, you can create events such as “Use the skill in 30 seconds” or “Move on to the next action after 5 minutes.” When the specified time is reached, BattleFlow Reminder automatically reads the message aloud. Because you don’t have to look away from the game to check a timer, you can stay focused on gameplay while hearing what you need to do next.

In addition to game strategies, repeated runs, and practice sessions, BattleFlow Reminder can also be used for workouts, timed tasks, and other activities where you want to follow a predefined timeline with spoken guidance.

Can I use BattleFlow Reminder without an internet connection?

Yes. BattleFlow Reminder’s core features can be used without an internet connection. You can create and play events, use text-to-speech, and import or export CSV files while offline.

BattleFlow Reminder uses voices installed on Windows for text-to-speech, so an internet connection is not normally required for speech playback. However, some features, such as retrieving in-app advertising information, may use an internet connection.

The moment a Splatoon 3 match starts, I get serious tunnel vision and completely forget to check the squid icons. I have no idea whether we have a player advantage, I lose track of enemy specials, and before I know it, I’m getting splatted by another Reefslider or Triple Splashdown. I can’t seem to get past 1600 XP, either. Oh, and I’m a Tri-Slosher Nouveau main. What should I do?

You can set up recurring spoken reminders such as “Check the squid icons,” “Watch enemy specials,” “Check the map,” or simply “Look around!” During those moments when you’re completely focused on the fight in front of you, a voice reminder can give you a little nudge to check what’s happening around the battlefield.

Of course, BattleFlow Reminder doesn’t actually know what’s happening in your match. It can’t tell whether your team has a player advantage, and it definitely won’t warn you that a Reefslider is heading straight for your face. You still have to notice those things yourself.

Will this finally get us past 1600 XP? No promises. I’ll be out there trying with my Tri-Slosher Nouveau too.
